We loved everything about our stay at Okiwa Bay Lodge. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel at home. The chef, Suzie, prepared exceptional meals that were even better than most restaurants. The views from the property were breathtaking, especially during pre-dinner drinks on the veranda. The hosts also provided great recommendations and introduced us to a knowledgeable guide.
Hard to think of anything.

The lodge is located on a hillside in a breathtaking area surrounded by amazing decked area. It offers a stunning view that is absolutely breathtaking and provides easy access to the numerous local wineries. the house is well-maintained and offers a range of facilities. guests may find some rooms and bathrooms too small for comfort.
The price of the lodge is disproportionately high compared to other similar establishments in the area.

We had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel! The location up on the hill provided breathtaking views of the lake that changed with the light throughout the day. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy sitting area and a patio to enjoy the scenery. The hotel also offered excellent service, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who provided great recommendations for activities and engaged in interesting conversations about history and current affairs. The amenities in the room, such as free toiletries, an electric kettle, and an AM/FM alarm clock, added convenience and comfort to our stay. The breakfast prepared by Martin was delicious, and Susie's gourmet dinner was a highlight of our visit. With the star-filled evening sky and the hosts even showing us the moons of Saturn through their telescope, the overall experience was truly memorable.
Highly recommend this hotel to families wanting a luxurious and comfortable stay with stunning views of the lake.

Our stay at Paradise was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were coming home. Martin and Susie, the owners, welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like old friends. They were not only warm and friendly, but also incredibly talented and professional. Every aspect of our stay was top-notch, from the comfortable and clean bedrooms to the delicious meals prepared by Susie and Martin. The views of the Sound were breathtaking, and we enjoyed comparing stories with fellow guests during pre-dinner drinks and canapés. It was truly a memorable experience, and we can't wait to return someday. Thank you Martin and Susie for your wonderful hospitality.
